Program description: How the long and troubled history of U.S. 1) military and covert interventions in Central America, 2) failed U.S. economic assistance, and 3) climate change policies are responsible for the waves of desperate people currently fleeing El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. We will explore why the United States has a legal and moral responsibility to admit them as refugees.
